Who we are…

All Things 245D originated from a profound desire to assist others in enhancing their 245D enterprises and supporting those in their local communities who require it the most. Our team consists of two distinguished 245D facility proprietors deeply rooted within the Minnesota community. Possessing a collective experience of 25 years, we are devoted to propelling your 245D business to unprecedented heights.

  • Sandra Donohue

    FOUNDER

In 2004, Sandra became an Adult Foster Care provider supporting medically-fragile individuals. In 2015, Sandra became a 245D Licensed Provider. In 2019, with the encouragement and support of her DHS 245D Licensor, Sandra opened her first Satellite Adult Foster Care Home and started consulting under Donohue Foster Services. Sandra helped other 245D license holders understand the statutes they operate under and helped to ensure their compliance to all federal, state and county mandates.

Due to the growth in new business, Sandra partnered with Angela Strasser, and All Things 245D was born. Partnering with Angela allowed them to expand their satellite offices and introduced them to new opportunities for expansion which included becoming certified trainers in Person-Centered Thinking – an initiative across the country to teach person-centered approaches to working with vulnerable adults, employees, coworkers, colleagues, students and others.

This new endeavor is not limited to the adult foster care field as it also relates to the corporate world and will expand their reach beyond their field of expertise.

Sandra is currently working within the legislative process to promote statutorial change to the industry and to ensure the individuals supported continue to get their needs met in family-based instead of institutional-based settings.

  • Angela Strasser

    FOUNDER

Originally a “Yooper”, Angela moved to Minnesota in 1999 to start a career working in disability services at an ICF/MR. Angela has worked in a variety of settings in Minnesota from corporate group homes, apartment based supported services, job coaching, independent living, crisis programs and adult foster care.

Angela opened Strasser Family Foster Services in 2019 which is a Dakota County Family Residential Service program. Angela’s education is in Health and Human Services and Emergency Medical Management. Angela is a National Certified Person-Centered Planner and a Person-Centered Trainer.

Angela is passionate about the people she supports. Angela believes everyone should have their voice heard and should be able to have opportunities to explore their hopes and dreams with supports to help them get there. As they say; better lives not better paper.

Angela is the conduit for change. Angela sees "ability" in disability and encourages individuals to explore alternative options that they may not believe in and discover their greatest potential.  Angela’s passion stems beyond the individuals she supports and into compliance management.

Angela is an ARRM member and is actively working with her legislators to further developments within disability services. Angela has been passionately part of the Human Services field for over 30 years and when not working, which if you ask her family she never stops, she enjoys spending quality time with her family; especially her grandson.

Angela is always up for an adventure. Angela loves traveling, spending time at her cabin, home diy projects and playing with her two bulldogs.
